Frequently Asked Questions

Sessions: Realism is a more time dedicated type of tattoo. I have attention to detail that shows in my work. Do to this sessions can take longer than what you have had before. My sessions are 12pm-6pm. Each piece typically takes about 2 sessions. EXAMPLE: Outer bicep would take 2, 12pm-6pm sessions. I prefer back to back but you can book those two sessions anywhere from 2-4 weeks apart to get it done in a timely manner.

Can I see my drawing beforehand?

I normally prep the day before with some day of prepping depending on the project, so you will see design day of. Small, doable alterations can be done. The reason I do it this way is because you came to me for my style I promote. Having clients change many tiny details of the piece makes it complicated and often times unrealistic expectations of what can be done. If you have specific things you want to be included, or changed reach out a week in advance and we can discuss the options of it being doable or not. I am a professional realism artist and I know what works and flows in a way that translates well and need to have clients have faith that I will be created it the best way possible.

How do I prep for my tattoo?

Do NOT shave beforehand. Bring snacks, drinks, headphones, anything to keep you busy.

What is my aftercare?

I will apply a Saniderm bandage and normally you can leave this bandage on for up to 7 days. If there is a build up of plasma under the wrap go ahead and remove the bandage. The only time I want clients to take the bandage of early is if there is a break in the outer seal of the bandage allowing air or fluid in the bandage. When the bandage is removed, use unscented soap to clean along with unscented lotion 2-3 daily until completely healed which takes about 2 weeks.
